Our Story
From Linux Servers to Liquid Cooling
Elistaria started in 2008 with a rack of Linux servers and a straightforward promise: keep our clients’ websites, web applications, and email running, and answer the phone when something breaks.
For years, that was the business. We hosted web applications, managed mail servers, tuned databases, and learned the unglamorous fundamentals of infrastructure the only way anyone really learns them: by carrying the pager. Power budgets were modest. A well-loaded rack drew a few kilowatts. Cooling meant air, and air was enough.
Then the workloads changed, gradually and then suddenly. Virtualization densified our racks. Storage grew. Around the middle of the 2010s, clients began asking about compute for data processing and, later, machine learning. We installed our first GPU servers and discovered what every operator discovers at that moment: the difficult part is not the servers. It is the building around them.
The difficult part is not the servers. It is the building around them.
A GPU node draws more power than an entire rack did in 2008. Air cooling, which had served us faithfully for a decade, stopped being an answer at these densities. Power distribution, floor loading, fire protection, even the safety procedures our technicians followed: all of it needed rethinking. So we rethought it, in our own facility, at our own risk, on infrastructure we were contractually obliged to keep online while we rebuilt beneath it.
That experience became the company we are today. We still operate infrastructure, and we now put eighteen years of operational scar tissue to work for clients who face the same transition: designing, building, and running facilities for high-density GPU and AI workloads, and keeping the people who work in them safe.
We work with enterprises, operators, and companies making their first serious investment in AI infrastructure. Every project gets the same standard: engineering honesty, transparent budgets, and accountability that does not end at handover.
Your infrastructure carries your business. We have carried our own since 2008, and we treat yours the same way.
